Categories

A category is a logical classification of items that have similar characteristics. Classifying your items and services into groups helps in easy record-keeping and indexing.

Create Category

To create a category in Myshop OS:

• Go to the Stock module in the left sidebar and click Categories
• Click + Create button in the left side of the page
• Type in Title of the category you want to create.
• Choose a preffered Label Color from the color tiles
• Click to Create or to Exit

Update Category

To update a category in Myshop OS:

• Go to the Stock module in the left sidebar and click Categories
• Click button right-adjacent any category in the list that you wish to modify.

  

• Type in Title of the category you want to change to or skip to ignore.
• Choose a preffered Color from the color tiles - Press to load new set of colors.
• Click to Save or to Exit

Delete Category

To delete a category in Myshop OS:

• Go to the Stock module in the left sidebar and click Categories
• Click button right-adjacent any category in the list that you wish to modify.

  

• Choose I know, Proceed to remove the record or Huh, Abort! to cancel the action.
